This week was an amazing week I was able to accomplish taking photos around my campus on an apple device. I took quite a few photos at school but I also decided to start taking photos outside of school. I was able to take a few really nice photos that I am proud of because I have never made a photos quality look that good. I edited the photos by using the own camera editor on any apple device which 100% made my photos look better. I didn’t have that many struggles this week but I did have a hard time finding things to take pictures of around my campus because there were a few things I could take pictures of but I did wish there were more. I want to work on how to edit the photos I take to make them look better and expand on what I know about them. For example I learned how to make the main thing pop out from the background or crop out distractions from the photo. What I plan on doing next week is starting to take photos with a digital camera and expand my horizon in the photos I take. I noticed that I took a lot of photos of plants and flowers but I would like to take photos of other things like maybe animals but I am still not 100% sure. Overall I had a good working day. The room in my house that is my favorite is my room. My room is my favorite because my room is where I basiclly spend alot of my time other than school and outside. My room has a lot of things that keep me busy so Imwomt go bored like my TV, books, and many more other things. A few months ago I did a room makeover so I really love how my room looks right now because I got a whole new set of furniture like a new bed,dresser,vanity,nightstand, and a  shelf. I recently also finished my sticker door which is on my  closet door that has a bunch of different stickers from a lot of places I have been to and a stickers from Tilly’s,zumies,vans and other places. I think that door being the accent wall of my room really brings my room together and it compliments my room really well. My favorite reason on way My room is my favorite room in my house is that it has my bed and I love talking naps on my bed because it is so soft and comfortable with all my blankets and my fuzzy comforter. This is why its my favorite room in my house.

Hello my name is Vicky and for my 20% project. I chose to learn about photography. While working on my 20% project this week, I finished researching on how to get good quality on an Apple device. I realized there is a lot of Tips that you can use to take nice photos on a phone or an iPad that give your photo nice photos. For example a few tips I learned about taking photos is having a clean camera lens, good lighting, hold steady, adjust exposure and use timer. I also learned that you can use the rule of thirds which a lot of photographers use to balance their photos, make them look more natural and compose better shots. Instead of continuing to research about good quality I want to start taking photos soon. Since nothing went wrong and I had no struggles this week. I had no adjustments to make this week. Next week I plan on starting to take photos on my school iPad so I can start getting the feeling of taking photos.

For my free write I decided to talk about the time I went to the beach with my cousin for the 4th of July. It all started on a bright and early summer morning. My mom got a call from my aunt asking if I wanted to go to the beach today and of course I said yes. I got ready to go and they picked me up, and on the way over there the AC broke and it was burning hot. From the second that we stepped on the sand my cousin and I ran to the water and in a span of 5 seconds we were already in the ocean swimming around. The whole day we were just swimming until we got a bored so we asked her parents if we could go walk around and look at the stores. When we entered the first store I saw these beautiful unique charm bracelets I have never seen and I knew I had to buy matching bracelets for both of us. When we put the bracelets on we were mesmerized in how they sparkled in the sun. We soon got hungry after walking around all the stores there so we went to go get açaí bowls at the nearest shop. We couldn’t decide what to get for like 15 min because everything looked so good. Once we got them we went back to the beach and sat down to talk to our other cousins while the fireworks were shooting in the distance.

This month I read a book called “This Summer Will Be Different” by Carley Fortune

“This Summer Will Be Different” It is about two girls one named Lucy and the other one named Bridget. These two girls are both best friends that have always been close. Lucy goes to visit Bridget in her hometown and before meeting Bridget she happens to tumble across Felix a very good looking local. Lucy had no idea. It was her best friend‘s brother yet Bridget made a rule that Lucy couldn’t fall in love with him. Lucy goes to PEI Each year to escape from reality, and she constantly gets reminded of Felix with all the surroundings. When suddenly Bridget has a crisis and Lucy drops everything to help Bridget before her wedding day.

I really like those book because it has a big suspense to it that constantly hooks you into the book while you’re reading it. They try not to give into the Temptation but of course it is always there. I really enjoyed the part where Bridget is starting to suspect something between Felix and Lucy.

My favorite character from “This Summer Will Be Different” Is Lucy because she is a really good friend to Bridget and she is always speaks well about her  And there isn’t ever something bad about Bridget coming out of Lucy’s mouth.My favorite quote from her is, “ Bridget is still in her room when I awake. I can hear her gentle snore through the door.” I like this quote because she was talking so nice about Bridget even when she is snoring and the sound of snores aren’t usually pleasant.

My favorite quote from the book is, “ ITS ALWAYS THE ROADS THAT GIVE ME THE FIRST FEELING OF BEING AWAY” This is my favorite Because that’s exactly how I feel when I go to Mexico. It feels like you were just reliving all the memories as you pass by.

 

There are so many people I want to invite to dinner but these are my top three Peso Pluma, my cousin, and my sister. I would choose these three people because first of all peso Pluma is a famous Mexican rapper/singer that is really famous for ythe type of music that he makes.I know that while I was having dinner with him he would be very in stressing to talk about. I love watching him on podcast but I know asking him questions would be way better than just watching him on a podcast. I would definitely ask him if he could come to my parents party’s to make the parties more fun. I would invite my cousin to the dinner because she has always wanted to meet him and he is her all time favorite singer. She has gone to his concerts but she would go crazy if she got to meet him. The last person I would invite to the dinner would be my sister because same like my cousin and I we love to listen to his music and we have always wanted to meet him. I know she would be super thankful for me for inviting her to the dinner. Although she thinks he is a bit overrated I know she would totally switch up and show her true colors on how much she actually likes his music. These are the three people I would want to invite to me dinner.

If I could have any job in the entire world, I would be an ultrasound tech. I would be an ultrasound tech because ever since I was little I found it very fascinating learning about peoples body’s and how they work. Being an ultrasound tech would be cool because they work with seeing the patients pregnant stomach with the baby inside and in my opinion I find that very interesting. I also find it cool how they use sound waves to make images of the human body. I know that it can be tricky to learn about the topic because researching about it and learning about it can be challenging. Working in this career would only take me 1-4 extra years of college to learn more about the job. From what I know being an ultrasound techie would be a little tricky but it also has really good pay that could keep me stable as an adult. I think this would be a good opportunity to learn a bunch of things about bodies.

I woke up invisible and a genie told me it was going to last for 24 hours. The first thing I did when I woke up invisible was go mess around with people I find annoying and mess around with my friends. I messed up their hair up, pulled on their shirt, or pull on their chair. The second thing I did was go to the store and get a lot of food for family and friends and even some for the homeless. At the store I also got a lot of things for me that I needed or wanted. During my day I also messed around the town and messed with people. The last thing I did was help people and organize their house from outside without them knowing.

Picking Daises On Sunday

This month I am reading Picking Daises On Sundays.I have not finished reading my book yet but I am currently on page 160.

From what I have read, this is what I got from the book. This book is about a girl name to Daniella, but all her family and family friends call her Dani. Dani has always wanted a romcom endless love since high school. She had a best friend named Levi that she always thought she had a chance with but was too scared to tell him anything love she had felt for him ended when he didn’t feel the same way. Four years later, she was at a bar and she stumbled upon Levi. Prizing Levi asked Dani to be his fake girlfriend for his sister‘s wedding. Everything was going so well and day by day she started gaining back all those feelings she was trying to lose after high school, but it was no help. She was in love again.

I like this book a lot because the whole time I was reading the book I felt hooked in by the book. By the way, they would explain everything the main character Dani goes through so many emotions and problems that it makes the book more interesting. She deals with emotions for her old best friend that constantly hooks you in every time the author mentions how Dani feels for Levi.

My favorite quote from the book is , “ call me next time you decide not to go out, I’ll walk you back.” This is my favorite quote because it shows how much Levi cared for Dani the jesters he would do that meant a lot to her.

 

 

 

It’s another day on my abandoned island. I live on an island at the beach with clear blue water with a bunch of palm trees surrounding the whole island. There is usally a bunch of vibrant parrots flying around which is so pretty. The first thing I do when I wake up is make my bed of leaves and then go to the water with a pail to boil some fresh water by rubbing some rocks together and sticks to make a fire. Once the water is boiled i wait for it to cool so I could use a bit of it to wash my face and I leave the rest for later. I start off by finding some fish to grill so I can eat that day and if I don’t find any fishes I climb the tall coconut trees to get some coconuts to eat. After I finish eating I usually take a swim for about an hour to relax for a bit of the day. Once I get tired of swimming I usually go explore the forest to find something to do and by the time I get back it is usally getting late so I go back and get ready for bed. I make a fire pit to keep me warm while I am sleeping because it gets really cold during the night and I go to sleep. This is my day at an abandoned island.
